What is Perena?

Perena is a decentralized stablecoin infrastructure built on Solana that offers USD STAR (USD*), a yield-bearing digital dollar designed to automatically accrue value from real yield sources. Unlike traditional stablecoins, USD* generates returns through delta-neutral strategies, secured lending, and tokenized liquid assets.

USD* is fully collateralized by a diversified portfolio of yield-generating assets, including delta-neutral hedged positions on both centralized and decentralized exchanges (BTC, ETH, SOL), secured borrow-lend market positions with on-chain stablecoins, and fully liquid tokenized real-world assets like USDC and USDT.

Perena actively manages asset allocation across multiple strategies to reduce risk concentration and optimize for sustainable yield performance.

Perena Season 1 Airdrop Details

Perena Season 1 (S1) is the protocol’s first major points campaign designed to reward early users and community members. The season follows beta phases (Season 0 and Pre-Season) and introduces a structured reward system through Petals and Badges that will influence how future Perena incentives are distributed.

Participation in Season 1 is tracked through two key metrics: Petals, earned primarily by minting and holding USD* on the official platform, and Badges, earned by completing milestones, tasks, and engaging with partner ecosystems.

Petals accumulate based on the amount and duration of USD* holdings, with additional rewards for yield generation. Each $1 held per day earns 1 Petal, while every $1 of yield generated equals 1,000 Petals.

Season 1 has no specified end date, giving users flexibility to participate at their own pace.
